Ubisoft has broken down everything that’s coming in Tom Clancy’s The Division 2‘s open beta, with some of the content showcased in a new trailer.
The open beta, running from March 1st to March 4th across all platforms, will feature three story missions playable in solo or 4-player squads, in addition to five side missions and new things to explore in the open world. On the PvP side of things, the open beta will support The Division 2‘s Conflict competitive scene, with two maps hosting the Skirmish mode. One Dark Zone area will also be present, in which players can choose between the PvE or PvP lifestyle, as will a level-30 endgame mission that will let us try out the game’s weapon specializations and see what it’s like facing down the game’s Black Tusk endgame faction.
The open beta’s selection of content includes one more story mission and Conflict map than the recently concluded private beta. The Chem Launcher skill and a level cap raise from 7 to 8 have also been added since the previous test. These changes, along with the full list of technical and balancing fixes made between betas, can be found in the official patch notes, which also specifies that progress will not carry over between betas.
Preload for the open beta will begin on February 28th at 1 a.m. PT.
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is slated to launch March 15th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Ubisoft recently detailed the game’s clan system, from which players learned that clans can host up to 50 members.
