Tom Clancy's The Division

As previously announced, Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment have opened up a test server for The Division 2.

The test server is only available on PC and requires a separate client download to access it. Players will be able to use their live characters on the test server as they were on April 12th when a snapshot was taken. However, no progress will carry over to the live servers from the PTS and character progression will not be saved after the server is brought down following testing.

“During this round of testing of Title Update 3, we will divide up the time with the Public Test Server in phases during which we will focus on different aspects of the update,” Ubisoft explains. “During the first phase, we are only focusing on finding bugs and not all balance changes will be present. As we move closer to the end of the phase, we will patch the build and update you on what we focus on next.”

Ubisoft notes that the eight-player Operation Dark Hours raid, which will be part of title update three, will not be available on the test server.

In other news, Massive Entertainment pushed a new update live for The Division 2 yesterday that addressed several bugs.
