Tom Clancy's The Division

Massive Entertainment has announced plans to open up a test server for The Division 2 at some point next week.

The Public Test Server will only be available on PC and will be used to test the upcoming third title update, which is scheduled to hit live servers on April 25th. The main highlight of this update is the Operation Dark Hours eight-player raid, but the developer said that the raid will not be available on the test server. Instead, the test will be used to give players a chance to try out upcoming balance changes, PvP adjustments, and new items.

Players will need to own the game to access the test server and must download a separate client. There is no NDA, so players can stream and share footage of the test server.

Last week, Ubisoft and Massive released a new update for the game that introduced the Tidal Basin Stronghold, World Tier 5, a new PvP map, an Apparel event, and more.
