Tom Clancy's The Division

Ubisoft has released three new screenshots for its upcoming next-gen title, The Division, which show off the game’s beautiful environments.

The game will run on the “Snowdrop Engine,” which has been specifically designed for The Division, and allows for a dynamic day and night cycle, volumetric lighting for atmosphere, dynamic global illumination, procedural destruction, an advanced particle system, and much more.

The Division was first announced at E3 2013 and is set to release later this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. However, a recent rumor claimed that development was still only in the early stages and that the game wouldn’t see a release until 2015. Ubisoft is yet to offer any comment on the rumor.
