Tom Clancy's The Division

The wasteland that was once New York City will soon be open to everyone in the upcoming Tom Clancy’s The Division free trial.

The story campaign and Dark Zone PvP arena will be available in the free trial, and both can be enjoyed cooperatively with unfettered access to the game world. The trial starts on February 28th for Xbox One and PC players, while PlayStation 4 players can download it on March 9th. There is no end date for the time being.

The trial does come with some ranking restrictions, cutting players off once they hit level 8. Additionally, the trial can only be played for up to six hours before it locks players out. The good news is that any progression made in the trial will be transferred over to the full game for those that decide to jump onboard.

For those already playing the full version of The Division, the game’s next expansion, Last Stand, was recently dated along with the next major update.

Starting out with a PS2, he grew an affinity for Sony consoles and moved on to the PS3, and now the PS4. He keeps his gaming palette wide, but, gun to his head, he’d have to say shooters are his genre of choice. Find him on Twitter @idole808
