Tom Clancy's The Division

The Division players on consoles can now download and access the 1.8 update Public Test Server, if they’ve been invited.

Players who participated in the test for update 1.7 will automatically gain access to this round of testing, while other invitees will be based on level, time played, and recent activity. Players who are selected to take part in the test will be emailed a key that will unlock the PTS.

The test version of the update includes the new West Side Pier area of the map, the Skirmish game mode, an updated Rogue system for the Dark Zone, a new gear optimization station, new classified gear sets, and more.

As well as the above, players can also try out Resistance, a new PvE mode that pits all of the enemy factions against up to four Division agents. The mode takes place in three arenas located around the new West Side Pier area.

For those who missed the original announcement, the new Rogue 2.0 system makes it so players will have to toggle Rogue status on before attacking another player and introduces new Manhunt levels and objectives.

A release date for update 1.8 has not been announced, but you can read the full patch notes here.

The Division is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
