Conan Exiles is headed to consoles.
Funcom revealed the open world survival game’s roadmap during a recent financial report, and the game is on track to release on the Xbox One’s Preview Program in the third-quarter of 2017. A full release of the game, once it’s out of early access, will arrive on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC in early 2018.
While the game is still early on, Funcom promises to provide regular patches every two weeks, in addition to “quick win” small additions in-between. Four to six larger Game Updates will arrive over the course of 2017, and will introduce big items like siege weapons and new biomes.
According to Funcom, Conan Exiles is currently surpassing all expectations, having amassed 480,000 sales in one month (a figure that the team didn’t expect to hit until a year after launch). This means that development costs have already been recouped.
Conan Exiles is currently available in Early Access form on Steam.
