A recent discovery in The Elder Scrolls Online‘s game files suggests that a The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind DLC may be in the works.

Reddit user “FloorBelow” discovered a map of Vvardenfell as well as tilesets for Hlaalu, Redoran, Telvanni, Vivec, Molag Mar, Dunmer strongholds, and Morrowind-style Dwemer ruins in the files.

“The whole area around Red Mountain appears inaccessible, though the northern ashlands around Urshilaku are, along with Molag Amur,” FloorBelow explains. “Sheogorad looks to be heavily under construction, but that giant wall of rocks makes me think it may be inaccessible as well.”

TESO Morrowind

The user also notes that Vvardenfell looks to be the biggest PvE zone in the game to date, after comparing it to Stonewalls and Wrothgar.

There’s no indication of when the zone will be added to the game.

Developer Zenimax Online plans to release The Elder Scrolls Online‘s next major update, Homestead, in February. Homestead will introduce player housing to the game, alongside the ability to craft and sell furniture.
