EGM’s TAKE: It appears that PC gamers are going to be the guinea pigs for this patch, which is good for console gamers. However, a lot of PlayStation 3 owners are going to be wishing that they could get in on the beta also, considering the most important fix is for their version of the game. The major problem with this is that even if there are issues with the patch Bethesda will be unable to rectify them on consoles without pulling the patch from certification, meaning that once the changes are made it will have to be resubmitted, taking even longer. PS3 and Xbox 360 owners are hoping that the beta doesn’t contain any issues. Expect the patch to appear on consoles sometime next week based on the usual certification time scale.
