The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Crime and Punishment Details

By
Posted on October 11, 2011 AT 07:20am

THE BUZZ: The recently leaked game manual for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has revealed some new details regarding the crime and punishment system.

If you are witnessed committing a crime you can prevent it from being reported by chasing down the witness and killing them, if you fail to stop them you will get a bounty placed on your head and the police will track you down. The following things are classed as a crime:

  • Stealing Items or Horses
  • Pick-pocketing Items
  • Picking a lock
  • Starting a fight or killing a non-aggressive character

EGM’s TAKE: This is probably the most in-depth crime and punishment system in gaming to date, and should make things more realistic.

What do you think of the system? Leave your thoughts below.
