The future direction of the Pokémon franchise somehow involves flowers, according to one of The Pokémon Company’s directors.

When asked for a one-word hint about the future of the series in an interview with Nintendo World Report, J.C. Smith, the director of consumer marketing at The Pokémon Company, said, “Flowers.”
