Focus Home Interactive has unveiled The Good, the Bad, and the Augmented expansion for action RPG The Surge.

The DLC will see players enter the bowels of the CREO facility and explore an old and abandoned Quality Assurance lab that was run by Dr. Rischboter. While in the lab, players must take on Dr. Rischboter’s deadly test chambers, which, for some reason, are based on a twisted Wild West TV show.

“Fight through the mad doctor’s training rooms and try modifying them yourself for increased rewards by combining up to 4 of the 16 insane modifiers available,” the publisher adds.

At the end of each room, players must take on a Challenger, powerful enemies that are equipped with 30 new equipment pieces that players can take for themselves.

The Good, the Bad, and the Augmented launches October 2nd for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
