Overwatch

A new Overwatch motion comic celebrates the game’s Winter Wonderland event by following Mei on a Yeti-hunting adventure.

Written by Robert Brooks and illustrated by OneMegaWatt, the comic takes a much lighter, charming direction than most Overwatch comics. Instead of detailing a sequence of events that happened in the official lore, the comic is just a Yeti Hunter Mei and a Yeti Winston messing with each other on a snowy mountain top.

The comic is available to read on Madefire, the dynamic comics platform Blizzard uses for its comics.

While Mei’s adventure is charming, her comic doesn’t quite compare to Overwatch‘s previous holiday comic, which had a slightly higher production value, and also included a fascinating revelation about one character. The game does step it up with its second Winter Wonderland event, however, with the new Yeti Hunt mode in addition to Mei’s Snowball Offensive, plus a host of new holiday skins.
