EA CEO Andrew Wilson revealed in yesterday’s financial call that FIFA 18 will build on the foundation of FIFA 17‘s The Journey story mode with a second season.

According to Wilson, The Journey Season 2 will feature new characters and new storylines.

FIFA 18 will build on the foundation we created with story mode this year, bringing players back to The Journey with Season 2, featuring new characters and new storylines,” he said.

Wilson added that the upcoming entry in the series will also feature “innovative new experiences” and will be “the most emotionally immersive and connected FIFA” ever produced.

FIFA 18 is expected to launch this fall.
