DC Universe Online is set to get its fourth major expansion this June, Sony Online Entertainment has announced.

The Last Laugh will add a wealth of PVP content, including a new weapon, additional Legends characters, new Safe House battles and a Headquarters battle.

There are three new Safe House battles:

• Graviton Technology Recovery – Players must unscramble teleporter codes that The Joker has split into eight separate fragments.
• The Rescue – Sees heroes trying to save hostages while the villains attempt to free arrested criminals.
• Bomb Disposal – Players will fight for control over a giant robot that can either help your team or hinder the opposition.

A new two part Headquarters battle is also being introduced, eight heroes must fight to take over the Hall of Doom and eight villains will attempt to break into The Watchtower. Finally the first light-powered Legendary charcters are being added. These are Kilowog, a Green Lantern, and Amon Sur.

Legendary subscribers will get this expansion for free and the rest of players will need to pay for it. No price has been announced.
