Sony recently lowered the price of The Last of Us Remastered by $10 to $49.99, which would normally be a good thing, unless you has already pre-ordered the game for $59.99.

Following the announcement many fans were annoyed that they wouldn’t be able to take advantage of the new lower price, having already pre-ordered at the higher one. However, despite a warning that customers “may not cancel a pre-order at any time and refunds are not available for pre-orders,” Sony has announced that it will be refunding the difference.

Sony VP of publisher and developer relations Adam Boyes said on Twitter that customers who pre-ordered from the PlayStation Store at the $59.99 price would automatically receive a $10 refund within the next five to seven days.

The Last of Us Remastered is set to launch exclusively for PlayStation 4 on July 29.
