THE BUZZ: Nintendo has announced that the Wii RPG The Last Story will be coming to North America this year.

Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime made the announcement at the latest Nintendo Direct event. However, Nintendo won’t be publishing the title,that role will be passed on to XSEED.

EGM’s TAKE: Fans have been begging for this announcement ever since the game was announced for Europe, with Nintendo of America repeatedly refusing to comment on speculation that the title would make it to North America. Well now the wait for an announcement is over and now the wait for release can begin. Don’t you just love waiting for games?
