Nintendo may have said time and time again that it has no current plans of bringing The Last Story to North America but a recent trademark might give gamers hope.

Nintendo of America recently got a trademarked approved that they filed back in January;

Goods and Services: Video game discs; programs for computer video games; electronic circuits, pre-recorded optical discs, pre-recorded ROM cards, pre-recorded ROM cartridges, pre-recorded CD-ROMs, pre-recorded DVD-ROMs and pre-recorded storage media featuring video games; controllers and joysticks for computer video games; pre-recorded memory cards featuring video games; replacement parts and fittings for computer video games; computer programs for handheld games with liquid crystal displays; electronic circuits.

Mark Description: The mark consists of the word “Nintendo” enclosed within an ovular boarder. The words “THE LAST STORY” appear underneath the word “Nintendo”.

Even thought the trademark has been approved Nintendo are still keeping quiet about The Last Story in North America.
