The Legend of Zelda

Sometimes, fans taking risks with a beloved gaming property ends up falling on some part of the “this was a disaster” scale. DaysideTV’s new teaser trailer for their soon-to-be-released The Legend of Zelda live-action fan movie, however, is one of those times that I start to get excited.

Why? Because they’re adapting the adventures of Link, Zelda, and Ganon to fit into the mold of a hard-boiled Hong Kong police drama, and that’s something I never knew I wanted until this very moment. Sure, it’s a totally silly idea?but sometimes the silly ideas are the best one.

The team at DaysideTV are promising the release of the movie today, but until we find out what exactly it’ll be and what fans will need to do to watch it, you can at least enjoy this teaser trailer?or tell me in the comments how much of a weirdo I am for having enjoyed it.
