After the original hit over five million downloads to iOS devices around the world, Zing Games is back with another chapter of its now-popular Mr. Runner series.

Right away, one of the most interesting things about Mr. Runner 2: The Masks is the huge change in art style. Here’s a side-by-side comparison of how the original game looked, versus the graphical style of Mr. Runner 2.

Visuals aren’t the only changes over the previous game. This time around, as Mr. Runner races through the game’s 32 stages, he’ll be able to find and wear 54 different masks—many of which take inspiration from “pop/gamer culture”, as the press release reads. You can see some of that in the video below—including one that looks suspiciously like a certain handle-bearing Nintendo game console.

If you’re interested in Mr. Runner 2: The Masks, it’s now up in the App Store for a paltry 99¢.
