Working at a media outlet that covers videogames, we often get cool promotional items for the various upcoming releases. This new goody for Assassin’s Creed III, however, might top the list of awesomeness.

Inside the package was a wooden box, one with the Assassin’s Creed III logo burned into it. Opening the box revealed a full-sized American flag—but one with a twist. It’s hard to see the quality of the flag in these photos, but it’s really nice—and the white sections of the flag are actually a slightly brown material with a cool texturing to it due to the fabric used.

After these photos were shot, resident superhero lover Ray decided that he wanted to fly around the skies of Los Angeles with this flag as his cape. We played along with him long enough to snap the photo below, and then stole the flag back before he desecrated it further.
