Maxis revealed during its recent livestream (via Polygon) that it will be adding a new first-person mode to The Sims 4 in an upcoming update.

The update is scheduled to go live on November 13th and will let players press Shift+Tab to switch to a first-person view of whichever Sim they are controlling.

In addition to the first-person camera, the update introduces the Style Influencer career, expanded terrain modification tools, and a number of bug fixes.

In other news, The Sims 4‘s next expansion, Get Famous, is scheduled to arrive on November 16th. The upcoming expansion will let players “live out their wildest dreams of lavish fame and rags-to-riches fortune” and includes the new acting career path, a new world called Del Sol Valley, and an appearance by real-life musician and social media star Baby Ariel.

The Sims 4 is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
