The Sims

Update: Microsoft and Sony have now officially confirmed that The Sims 4 will be arriving on consoles. The game will release on both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 17th.

If you want to jump in a little earlier, you can pre-order The Sims 4 Deluxe Party Edition to gain early access to the game three days ahead of launch, as well as the Life of the PartyUp All Night, and Awesome Animal Hats digital content packs described below.

Original story: The Sims 4 is coming to Xbox One on November 17th, according to a listing on the Microsoft Store.

Spotted by True Achievements, the listing states that pre-ordering the game will unlock the Perfect Patio Stuff DLC, which includes hot tubs, more fashion options, and bonus décor.

There’s also a listing for a Deluxe Party Edition of the game, which includes the Life of the Party DLC, Up All Night DLC, and Awesome Animal Hats DLC.

“Enjoy the power to create and control people in a virtual world where there are no rules,” the description reads. “Express your creativity as you customize your Sims’ distinct appearances and unique personalities. Choose their fashions, select their hairstyles, and give them life aspirations. Effortlessly build your Sims the perfect homes with the all-new room-based Build Mode, choosing your favorite designs and décor.

“Develop your Sims’ relationships, pursue new careers, and shape the rich and entertaining moments of their lives. Explore beautiful worlds with unique environments and travel to neighborhoods where you can visit venues and meet other interesting Sims. Be powerful and free, have fun, and play with life!”

The Sims games have been released on consoles in the past, but this will be the first time that a game has been available on Xbox One.

The Sims 4 is available now on PC.
