EA has released a day one patch for The Sims 4 that corrects some issues with babies hibernating, removes the ability to date the Grim Reaper, and more.
Apparently Sims were attempting to go on a date with the Grim Reaper “resulting in non-responsive game states.” “The Reaper still loves ya baby,” EA writes, “he is just too busy to go on a date with every lovelorn Sim that vies for his attention.”
There was also a problem “where babies were incorrectly hibernating within household inventories resulting in several issues,” such as Build Mode crashes, game hangs, and more. The patch also fixes issues with Create-A-Sim and objects scaling.
You can read the full patch notes here.
The Sims 4 is available from today, September 2, in North America, and is set to launch later this week in Europe.
