The Unfinished Swan Now Finished, Sets Release Dates For Early October
Posted on October 5, 2012 AT 11:30am
We haven’t heard much from developer Giant Sparrow about The Unfinished Swan ever since a thrilling demo at E3, but the unique “first-person” painting game’s all set for PSN. Some of you might get it early, too.
An update on the official PlayStation Blog has confirmed a round of release dates for the game, with PlayStation Plus members getting their usual early access:
- North America — October 16th (PS Plus), October 23th (Worldwide)
- Europe — October 17th (PS Plus), October 24th (Worldwide)
In the team latest developer diary, a particular note is made about how Sony snatched up the rights to the game as quickly as they saw its prototype.
Although The Unfinished Swan is sure to perform well on PSN, one can’t help but wonder how the game would perform on Steam, Xbox Live, or even with an expanded PS Vita version. We’ll have to be content with what we’ve got, though, but it’ll be very interesting to see how far Giant Sparrow gets with their first major project.
