The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD‘s new difficulty setting is called Hero Mode, Polygon reports.

According to Polygon, enemies deal twice as much damage in Hero Mode. The new difficulty setting also removes hearts from environments, forcing players to rely on potions and fairies to restore Link’s health. As a result, players will need to be more thoughtful whenever doing battle with baddies.

New to Wind Waker HD is the Swift Sail feature, which allows players to directly steer Link’s ship instead of relying on wind direction like in the original (although the HD remake still contains that original means of locomotion). The Swift Sail feature is part of both Normal Mode and Hero Mode.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD launches on Wii U this October in both North America and Europe.
