CD Projekt Red has released a new update for The Witcher 3 on PlayStation 4 that addresses a big issue introduced in a previous update.
Last month, the developer finally released its long-promised HDR update for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro. However, the update also came with a pretty nasty downgrade for the PS4 Pro version of the game when running in 4K mode that caused major foliage pop-in.
Today’s update should increase draw distance for foliage when running in 4K mode on PlayStation 4 Pro, according to the developer.
The HDR update that arrived last month improved overall stability and performance, fixed several localization issues, and made several minor visual improvements.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
