Nintendo Switch

In a recent interview with Eurogamer about his next game, Jonathan Blow was asked about the possibility of bringing his previous game, The Witness, to Nintendo Switch.

“I wouldn’t say never,” he said in response,”but we worked on that game for a long time. We could have done more ports but I felt like it was a good idea to give the team a break and work on some new things.

“We’re working on new projects now. We’re not really working on ports of The Witness but that could change. Something could happen. We could outsource it and quality control in-house. But we’re not currently doing anything.”

Blow recently showed off his next puzzle game which utilizes multiple characters to complete a variety of puzzles on single-screen levels. The game currently doesn’t have a release date—or even a title.

The Witness was originally released in 2016 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, before being brought to iOS in 2017.
