Owners of The Wolf Among Us Season Pass on Xbox 360 will be sent a code to download the second episode, Smoke and Mirrors, Telltale Games has announced.

Episode two of The Wolf Among Us was released on February 4, but season pass owners on Xbox 360 found that they had no option to download it for free—only one to buy it for $4.99. Yesterday, Microsoft promised that it was working hard to resolve the issue, and now developer Telltale has confirmed that a code will be sent out to all those affected.

“We are working with Microsoft and will be releasing a title update to resolve the issue for this and subsequent episodes covered by the Season Pass. We anticipate the update will be available within several days,” the developer wrote on its official forum.

“All The Wolf Among Us Season Pass owners will be sent Xbox 360 console system message codes that will allow them to download episode 2 for no additional charge. If you intended to buy a Season Pass for The Wolf Among Us, but haven’t yet, you can continue to do so. New Season Pass purchasers will also receive codes by console system message while the title update is in progress. Please note there may be a delay of up to 48 hours in receiving the console system message for new Season Pass purchases made prior to the title update release.”

Once the code has been redeemed users will need to go Download History under Account on their Xbox 360 console to download The Wolf Among Us Episode 2: Smoke & Mirrors.

“We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused our Season Pass customers but we are glad that we are able to provide your content to you in this way while we work closely with Microsoft to issue the necessary title update,” Telltale added.
