The Xbox Live Battle Between Battlefield 3 And Call of Duty: Black Ops
Posted on November 9, 2011 AT 02:09pm
THE BUZZ: Microsoft today released activity stats for Xbox Live for the last week of October, and two games fought for first place—Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty: Black Ops.
The winner? Black Ops. Battlefield fans shouldn’t feel bad, however—remember that there are over 25 millions copies of Black Ops out there worldwide, so Battlefield 3 wouldn’t have a chance of being nearly as popular yet.
Battlefield 3 did get the win over another Call of Duty title that’s long been a top spot on the list—Modern Warfare 2.
Here’s the rest of the Xbox Live activity rankings for the week of October 31st.

EGM’s TAKE: Black Ops, Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty 4, and World at War—it really is kind of amazing how many Call of Duty titles are constantly in the list of most active games on Xbox Live. It isn’t surprising at all why Activision released one new title in the franchise every year.
