Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call coming to Nintendo 3DS later this year

Posted on April 22, 2014 AT 12:10pm

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call, a sequel to 2012’s 3DS and iOS Final Fantasy–themed rhythm game, will arrive in North America for Nintendo 3DS later this year, Square Enix announced.

According to the announcement trailer’s YouTube description, Curtain Call will fill feature 221 songs and 60 characters from Square Enix’s flagship RPG franchise, as well as Versus and Quest Medleys modes. The latter sees players creating their own Final Fantasy playlists to battle through. Versus mode, obviously, will let players face off in score-chasing, rhythm-matching competition.

Characters and tracks will range from the full spectrum of Final Fantasy games, including Advent Children, Lightning Returns, Final Fantasy Tactics, Mystic Quest, and, of course, the various proper entries.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call will be $39.99 when it arrives on 3DS later this year.
