THE BUZZ: Just because EA are offering Theme park iOS for free don’t think their going soft, there’s a sneaky little DLC scheme in place to ensnare impatient players.
The game’s more interesting features are locked when you first start the game, and require you to increase your park value in order to unlock them, however this is a time consuming and monotonous task. Luckily EA offer something called Park Tickets which can be purchased with real money and allow you to unlock items above your current level. One rollercoaster – the Skull Train – will set you back $60 worth of tickets.
EGM’s TAKE: You don’t have to purchase them, but some gamers may choose to take the easy option and end up spending hundreds of dollars on an iOS game before they even realize it.
