Nintendo has gone above and beyond for Kirby’s 20th anniversary celebration, breaking a Guinness World Record and releasing a special Nintendo Wii set to boot. But there’s one little extra that disappeared like thin air.

Available via Club Nintendo for just 600 coins, anyone with the digital money could pick up a “Limited Edition Kirby Medal” to pin on their clothing item or mantle piece of choice.

But as it turns out, 1000 of them just wasn’t enough.

Not only are the medallions sold out, but it seems that Nintendo also has no plans to restock them anytime soon, if they do at all. Hopefully, demand will force Nintendo to produce more—people aren’t even selling them on eBay.
