This Transforming LEGO GameBoy is Utterly Amazing

THE BUZZ: Julius von Brunk has built a GameBoy that transforms into a robot out of LEGOs—whose awesomeness makes me question what I’ve been doing with my life.
EGM’s TAKE: EGM’s Brandon Justice sent me an email with a link to check this thing out, simply stating, “Totally newsworthy, no?” Now, whenever I get such email from Brandon, I try as hard as I can to pretend that I read them, and thank him for the wonderful job he does every day.
This time, however, he was actually on to something!
I’ve been a LEGO fan ever since I was a wee child, and in my life I’ve built plenty of complex and creative things. I can assure you, however, that my entire life’s work has never amounted to anything on this level.
Posted over on mocpages.com, Julius von Brunk built “Domaster & Tetrawing”, two heroic Nintendobots. Julius says that the name Domaster is a play on the “Dot Matrix with Stereo Sound” label that Nintendo’s GameBoy sported. As for Tetrawing?
“The name Tetrawing was coined by New York burlesque girl Dangrr Doll who does a Tetris-themed routine with D20 Burlesque!”
Julius then goes on to say that, “The 2 AA battery blasters are a nice touch, if I must say so myself.” Nice touch? No, Julius von Brunk. Awesome touch.
