Mass Effect 3

THE BUZZ: This week in gaming sees a slew of PS Vita releases to coincide with the “First Release” model of Sony’s new handheld. Most people, however, will have to wait an additional week for the Playstation Vita’s debut. Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Wipeout 2048, and Modnation Racers seem to be the cream of the crop, and are likely to rise to the top as well. Besides the firs Vitas and its game releases, this week Twisted Metal puts rubber to road and we get to see if UFC Undisputed 3 can live up to the hype.

EGM’s TAKE: We have a feeling every new handheld release will bring with it a new version of Plants Vs. Zombies along with it. We’re also excited to get our hands on Lumines Electronic Symphony, which has been called a love letter to electric music by more than one source. Little Deviants is the one to watch though, with the strongest use of the back touch panel, we’d like to know how well customers take to this new concept in gaming. Last but not least, this Valentine’s Day a lot of us will be spending time with a little demo called Mass Effect 3.
