Epic Games has shared a few balance changes that will be made to Fortnite in this week’s update.

Following the update, planes will no longer be able to smash through structures, a prompt for interacting with ziplines will be added, using a zipline will grant fall damage immunity, and players will be able to crouch while editing structures.

In addition to the above, the hand cannon and rocket launcher are being nerfed, with a reduction in damage to structures to 100 for the former and an increase in reload time for the latter.

Finally, according to an in-game tease, this week’s update will see the introduction of the Infantry Rifle, which is based on the M1 Garand and carries the in-game description “classic design meets new combat style.”

Fortnite is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
