Grand Theft Auto

Rockstar continues to roll out support for Grand Theft Auto Online, with a new car and discounts now available.

The newest vehicle players can take to the streets of Los Santos is the Ubermacht Revolter. This car is both the height of luxury, and can also be equipped with a forward-facing machine gun for those that need reminding of who owns the streets. Only the biggest rollers will be getting their hands on this machine, considering its $1.6 million price tag.

Players that want to save up for it can start pinching pennies with a 25 percent discount on the Benefactor Turreted Limo and HVY APC vehicles, in addition to a selection of discounts on the Mk II weaponry added in the recent Doomsday update. These deals will run until January 29th, with the specific Mk II discounts listed below.

  • Mk II Upgrades – 30 percent off
  • Mk II Magazines – 25 percent off
  • Mk II Scopes – 25 percent off
  • Mk II Muzzles – 25 percent off
  • Mk II Weapon Liveries – 25 percent off

Even with the discounts, the new car can put a serious dent in your wallet. Players can rake in some extra cash with double GTA$ and RP for playing the Air Quota aerial battle mode and Rockstar-created Stunt/Land races. Like the discounts, these resource bonuses are lasting until January 29th, along with the new Premium Race and Time Trial opportunities.

While the Ubermacht Revolter looks impressive, players may want to consider saving their money for the recently launched Viseris. Not only is it about half the price, but it is also the fastest car in the entire game. What is more, the gamer who tested the Viseris has also done preliminary testing on the Revolter, and it’s apparently rather slow.
