This Week’s Mass Effect 3 Bounty Weekend Is Explosive

It’s time, it’s time—it’s Bounty Weekend time! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it’s your next chance to get some bonuses in Mass Effect 3‘s multiplayer mode.

This time around we’re presented Operation: Detonator, where “recent setbacks have prompted changes in unit composition. Turian cabal theory is now dominant training paradigm. N7 units will now be deployed with pairs or higher percentages of biotics wherever available to maximize effectiveness.”

The goal for Operation: Detonator is an individual one: earn 20,000 Biotic Explosion points on any map via any difficulty. BioWare’s official blog notes that you’ll need to be certain that you kill enemies with the explosion for the points to count; points are cumulative across matches, and if you fail to get extraction, you’ll still earn your points.

The reward for successfully completing Operation: Detonator is a Commendation Pack.
