This Week’s New Content for PlayStation Plus

Posted on November 19, 2012 AT 10:37am

It’s Monday, which means tomorrow is Tuesday, which means a new batch of content for PlayStation Plus subscribers!

Of course, this weeks brings the launch of PS+ on the PlayStation Vita, so by far the most exciting content coming tomorrow is happening over there. Subscribers who own a Vita will be getting Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Gravity Rush, WipEout 2048, Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack, the Vita version of Jet Set Radio, and Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions for PSP all for free.

However—if you’re not yet a PS3 owner, don’t pass up this content! You can always tag those games as purchased on the store via your PS3, so that if/when you do end up getting a Vita, you’ll then be able to go back and download them all.

Over on the PS3, the big free games for this week are the tower defense action of Dungeon Defenders, and Sega’s Sonic Bundle, which takes you back to the Sonic’s 16-bit origins in Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

Some of Sega’s other games will also be on sale, with additional discounts going to PS+ subscribers. If you don’t have a Vita, and haven’t yet picked up Jet Set Radio, $4.89 for the game is a fantastic price.

  • Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown Complete Edition – $19.99 (PS+: $14.99)
  • Hell Yeah Bundle (Full game + 2 DLCs) – $14.99 $10.49)
  • NiGHTS into Dreams – $6.99 (PS+: $4.89)
  • Jet Set Radio – $6.99 (PS+: $4.89)
  • Sonic Adventure 2 – $6.99 (PS+: $4.89)
  • Sonic Adventure 1 & DLC Bundle – $4.99 (PS+: $3.99)
  • Sega Rally Arcade – $4.99 (PS+: $2.99)
  • Space Channel 5: Part 2 – $3.99 (PS+: $2.99)

Finally, two other discounts for members of PS+. You’ll get 20% off the PlayStation Move title Sorcery, and 80% off a one-year Premium subscription to Sony’s Music Unlimited service (regularly $60, on sale for $12).
