This week’s PlayStation Plus content: Velocity Ultra free, Japanese game sale

PlayStation Plus subscribers can grab Futurlab’s space-set 2D shoot ‘em up Velocity Ultra on PS Vita free along and a whole mess of Japanese-developed games on the cheap this week, Sony revealed today.

As for the plethora of J-games on sale this week, the full list is as follows:

Sony is offering a discount on Wolfenstein: The New Order PS3 and PS4 pre-orders, too, knocking the full price down to $53.99 from its otherwise $59.99 price tag. All of these prices, as always, reflect discounts for Plus subscribers.

This week also marks your last chance to grab Mercenary Kings on PS4 and Batman: Arkham City on PS3 free from the Instant Game Collection. Both games and the discounts listed above wrap up on Tuesday, May 6.
