Super Smash Bros

In celebration of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate‘s triumphant arrival on the Nintendo Switch this December, Nintendo has announced three new amiibo will launch alongside the brawler.

During its Treehouse Live E3 presentation, the company revealed the all-new characters Ridley, Inkling girl, and Daisy will become the trophy-like collectibles. While a sample of the Daisy amiibo wasn’t available, Nintendo showed off both Ridley and Inkling girl, which you can check out in the images below. It’s unclear what bonuses the amiibo will provide for players when used with the game, but for now, they’re perfect for any amiibo collector.

The Inklings from Splatoon 2 were previously announced to be a part of the game during its reveal Direct earlier this year. However, Ridley and Daisy were both surprise additions featured in Nintendo’s E3 showcase, as well as many other exciting features.

In fact, a majority of the presentation was dedicated to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It was revealed the game would be launching this holiday season and include every character that’s ever appeared in a previous Super Smash Bros. entry. That means players will get to use the standard fighters, such as Mario, Link, and Pikachu, as well as the third-party DLC characters, like Bayonetta, Cloud, and Ryu.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will launch exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on December 7th.
