Thrustmaster — who are best known for making controls and gaming steering wheels — have announced that they will jump into the gaming headset realm with the release of the Y-250 line.
Available for the Xbox 360 (Y-250X), PCs (Y-250C), or for both PS3s and PCs (Y-250P), all three versions of these wired headsets have detachable, unidirectional, and adjustable mics as well as a multifunctional controller on the wire that lets you change the volume of the game and your teammates independantly. That wire is also detachable, so you can, using the second regular wire that comes with these headsets, also use them on portable gaming systems, tablets, or smart phones.
The headsets will retail for around $89.99 each, and will be out this month.
