THE BUZZ: As part of a collection of 54 lists covering the best and worst of 2011, news publication TIME magazine has revealed its top ten games of the past year.

  1. Minecraft
  2. Portal 2
  3. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
  4. Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception
  5. Batman: Arkham City
  6. Bastion
  7. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
  8. Dark Souls
  9. Sword & Sworcery
  10. Battlefield 3

EGM’s TAKE: To be honest, not a bad list overall. I would love to have seen Dark Souls higher than Skyrim personally, but heck, I’m just glad it was on the list period. I’m also sure more than a few Call of Duty fans will be none too pleases that their series isn’t on the list while Battlefield 3 is.
