THE BUZZ: According to Official PlayStation Magazine Italy the long rumored TimeSplitters 4 is set to be announced “very soon”.

In the latest issue the magazine has mentioned that the title will be announced “very soon”. The title will apparently utilize the CryEngine 3 and that a 2012 launch is the most likely scenario.

”The pistol-wielding monkeys are back. TimeSplitters 4 will be announced very soon.”

EGM’s TAKE: It has already been everything but confirmed that TimeSplitters 4 is in fact in development at Crytek as the developer has dropped numerous hints regarding it so a reveal within the next few months wouldn’t be unrealistic.
