Titanfall

Titanfall Online, a free-to-play game being developed for the Asian market by Nexon, is no more.

A representative of Nexon confirmed to Game Focus (via Kotaku) that the decision has been made to cancel the project and move development resources elsewhere.

“It is true that Nexon and EA have agreed to cancel Titanfall Online under a business decision,” the rep said. “After much deliberation, it was decided that reallocating development resources to another project was better for the company.”

The game was announced in December 2016 and is based on the original Titanfall. Limited beta testing was conducted in South Korea earlier this year, but the game was reportedly received poorly by players.

Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment recently announced that it is working on a new Star Wars game titled Star Wars: Jedi Fall Order.
