Titanfall VGX Trailers Reveal New Titan Classes: The Ogre and The Stryder

Posted on December 7, 2013 AT 06:01pm

Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment’s co-founder, Vince Zampella, and community manager Abbie Heppe debuted two new Titan classes during today’s VGX awards: the Ogre and the Stryder.

The Ogre (seen in action in the first video embedded below), is a heavy armor mech produced by Hammond Robotics that, while lacking in the mobility of the Atlas class Titan, can absorb much more damage and deal 50 percent more damage both ballistically and in martial combat.

The Stryder (second embed), meanwhile, is a much lighter Titan model with “30% increased thrust” and the “lightest core” of the Titan mech line, making it the fastest, most agile model produced by designer Hammond Robotics.

Titanfall will be launching exclusively on Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows PC March 11, 2014.
