The Xbox 360 version of Titanfall will receive updates and DLC after the Xbox One and PC versions, according to a post on the game’s official site.
Bluepoint Games will be working on bringing all free content updates and paid add-ons to Xbox 360 that are made available for Xbox One and PC, according to the post. However, they wont be released at the same time.
“Updates for the Xbox 360 will naturally follow behind similar updates for the PC and Xbox One. This timing difference is due to the same reasons that more time was needed to finish Titanfall for the Xbox 360,” the post explains. “Respawn must first finish their additions and improvements for the Xbox One and PC, and afterwards Bluepoint can then grab the latest and update the Xbox 360 version. We’re working with Respawn and Bluepoint to streamline the process and close the gap, allowing Xbox 360 updates to be published as closely as possible to Respawn’s updates.”
Bluepoint is currently working on the changes that were included in Content Update 2 for Xbox One. The first part of the update went live on Xbox 360 recently, which included the Gooser challenge change, and the second half should be “available soon.”
Titanfall‘s first add-on, Expedition, is set to go live later this month on Xbox One and PC, while Bluepoint is aiming to have the add-on available on Xbox 360 in June.
