Uncharted

The box art for the recently announced Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration bears an uncanny resemblance to the box art of another comparable game series.

The new Rise of the Tomb Raider box art depicts the blue silhouette of protagonist Lara Croft defined as a darker shade of the background. What is suspicious about the design is that it is basically identical in style to the box art of last year’s Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection with the only appreciable style difference being the color of the overlay. Even the text of the titles look alike.

Naughty Dog creative director Neil Druckmann even posted a humorous tweet about the similarities, making comparisons to the quite possibly plagiarized speech Melania Trump delivered at the Republican National Convention Monday night.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration will be the first time PlayStation 4 gamers can enjoy Rise of the Tomb Raider on their console. This special edition is launching on October 11th and includes all previously released DLC for the game.
