Patch 1.5 for Total War: Rome II is now available for beta testing and includes just one fix, but it’s a pretty major one.
The patch “improves Campaign Map frame rate in the majority of cases for those people with high-end graphics cards combined with mid-range CPUs. Those people who have noted high frame rates in battle but single-figure frame rates during Campaign Map play should see a notable increase in performance.”
The patch will not be automatically applied to your game as it is in beta, to access it you must opt-in via Steam. The Creative Assembly also announced that Patch 2 for the game has suffered a slight delay.
“We have taken the decision to move back Patch 2 slightly to increase the amount of fixes included in it. We will have more news on it later this week,” a post on the game’s forum reads.
