TowerFall Ascension creator Matt Thorson has announced that the game will be coming to Xbox One on January 25th, 2017, according to Eurogamer.

It was also announced that the game’s expansion, Dark World, will also be coming to Xbox One on the same day.

“Enigmatic portals open to four new battlegrounds across TowerFall‘s twisted alternate reality,” the expansion’s description reads. “Fight aboard legendary ghost ship The Amaranth, across the murky bogs of Dreadwood, or through the crumbling halls of Darkfang. Enter Cataclysm, an all-consuming vortex where levels shift into unique layouts with every match. Murder your friends with new game-changing arrow types and variants.”

TowerFall Ascension originally launched for Ouya, before later being brought to PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, Linux, and Vita.
